Jun Ho Yoon

Hello! I'm Jun Ho. I'm interested in math education, education software, and web development, and I especially enjoy projects where those interests overlap. I'm currently looking for full-stack web development and frontend development opportunities where I can contribute to practical, user-focused software.

My background is in both computer science and mathematics, and I've spent much of my development experience building and running my own projects. That has led me to create products like VocabHelp.com, ProvableLearning.com, and Excerptle.io. I tend to bring the same structured, logical approach I learned through mathematics into the way I design software and work through technical problems.

I use modern LLM coding tools like Claude, Codex, and Grok extensively in my development workflow, but I try to use them within a disciplined software engineering process rather than treating them as a shortcut. I typically move from research and product requirements, to implementation planning, to development, while maintaining implementation notes and architectural decisions along the way.

I also care about building software that can grow beyond its first version. I try to follow SOLID principles, keep dependencies well-defined, and structure systems into modular, testable components so that individual pieces can be changed or extended without destabilizing the rest of the application.

Most of my experience so far has come from independently building and operating my own software rather than working on a professional engineering team. I'm looking forward to bringing that experience into a collaborative environment, learning from other engineers, and becoming a stronger developer through working on real products with a team.
